Mexico, one of the most valuable countries for TOUS

 Since TOUS began its expansion around the world, Mexico has become one of the priority countries that plays a crucial role in the foreign market with almost 80 stores spread throughout the country. For that reason, the corporate vice president of TOUS, Rosa Tous, has recently made a visit to the Mexican country. "Our main objective is to be constantly monitoring the park of stores that we have, because retail is a segment that moves a lot," explained the company's vice president on Expansion CNN.

In addition, during these days the Global Gift Gala has been celebrated, an international event in which funds are raised to help the social groups that need it most. TOUS has participated as a sponsor in the gala that this time has taken place in Mexico City. "It is an honor to participate in the new edition of Global Gift Gala, as part of our commitment to the social activities of this wonderful country. It is our responsibility to support initiatives that defend the most vulnerable and promote the Latin woman, building together a more just world, "explained Rosa Tous. Among the star hosts of the evening were the actress and producer Eva Longoria, and the singer Ricky Martín, whose non-profit foundations also benefited from the funds raised during the gala.


On the other hand, Rosa Tous also received a very special invitation. The Spanish Chamber of Commerce is an organization in charge of promoting and promoting trade and investment between Mexico and Spain. With a long history of almost 100 years in the sector, TOUS has more than 620 stores located in 53 countries around the world. 78 of them are located in Mexico, which makes it the second most important market for the company, only after Spain. After a 16% increase in sales during 2017 in Mexico, TOUS expects to close the 2018 fiscal year with double-digit growth compared to the previous year. In addition, among its expansion plans is the opening of ten new stores before the end of the year. So far, the brand is present in 30 different cities spread throughout the region, from Mexico City, to the Caribbean in the cities of Merida and Cancun.
